August 27, 2002: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sazali Yaacob, Dean of the School of Engineering and Information Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ideris Zakaria, Deputy Dean (Research & Development), Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia, visited AIT to explore possible academic collaboration in research particularly in the fields of robotic, utilization of waste materials in construction, starch, and bio-process technology. The delegation met AIT administration, led by Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost, Prof. Chongrak Polprasert, Dean of SERD; Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Dean of SCE; and Dr. Nitin V. Afzulpurkar, Industrial Systems Engineering Program Coordinator.
