KOICA increases Endowment Fund contribution
The Government of the Republic of Korea, through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), has recently confirmed an additional US$500,000 contribution to the Korea Endowment Fund at AIT.
The contribution now increases — the Endowment Fund established in 1981 with the initial contribution of US$500,000 from the Govt. of ROK — to US$1,000,000.
The income of this fund will be used to finance scholarships for students from developing countries in Asia.
A handover ceremony will be held on Friday, 6 January 2006 at AIT to mark the event.
