Professor presents seminar on hydropower for Nepal
Prof. Ram Shrestha of SERD recently presented a seminar on ‘Hydropower for National Development of Nepal: Prospects, Challenges and Strategies’ in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 5 January 2007. The event was organized by the Nepal Engineers Association and the AIT Alumni Association Nepal Chapter.
The seminar was attended by about 200 participants representing different cross-sections of the hydropower development community in the country including national policymakers like the minister of state for water resources and the vice chairman and a member of the National Planning Commission of Nepal.
