The AIT Community is pleased to welcome Professor Ake Faldt to AIT. Professor Faldt is currently a Professor of Chalmers University of Technology and will be engaged at AIT as a Visiting Professor in the Microelectronics field of study, School of Engineering and Technology, until December 2007. During his appointment, Professor Faldt will be teaching a Solid State Physics course. Professor Faldt received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology / University of Gothenburg in 1980. Since 1982 he had the course responsibility and been lecturer in about 75 courses. A majority of these courses are general physics courses, covering mechanics, thermodynamics, electric and magnetic fields, wave physics, quantum physics and introductory solid state physics.
