EECC Department’s Alumnus Mr. Yeshey Penjor, is appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in Bhutan. He contested the election from Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa, a political party in Bhutan that won the majority of seats in the recent parliamentary election to form government.
He graduated from AIT with a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Management in 2007. Prior to joining politics, he was the Project Director of Green Public Procurement Project and Climate Change Policy Advisor with UNDP Bhutan and National Environment Commission.
