Dr. Oleg Shipin, Associate Professor in EEM program in SERD was invited as a resource person to participate in the US Seminar – Survey Studies over the period of 25 May – 17 June 2019. Organized by Idaho/ California Wetlands Associations and the University of Idaho, it took place in Yellowstone-SequoYosemite-Mojave Convention Centres, USA (Idaho/California).
He presented his personal and broad Asian experience on wetland ecosystems and their role in potential water-related disease control for such close viral diseases as dengue, zika, and chikungunya.
