Message from Dean SERD on “World Environment Day”

05 Jun 2020
Sarina Pradhan Pradhan

June 5th is observed as a World Environment Day (WED). World’s biggest day to celebrate Environment. This year, the theme of WED is “Time for Nature”. That’s true – the foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature. The theme reflects well about the very responsibility of humans’ action on the mother earth. The School of Environment, Resources and Development focuses on environment-related education. On this occasion, I call on every one of us to renew our commitment to work more and better towards the cause of Nature and Environment.

With kind regards,
Prof. Rajendra P. Shrestha
