AIT signs an MoU with Shanghai QiYuan Core Motive Power Technology Co. China

On 26 Aug 2022, the MoU between AIT and Shanghai QiYuan Core Motive Power Technology Co. for “Key Project of Strategic Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation” of China was signed.

The purpose of this MoU is to enable AIT to be one of the strategic academic institutions of QiYuan to jointly apply for the “Key Project of Strategic Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation” funded by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST); the proposed scope of work is to carry out research and application demonstration programs of the key technologies and standardization for Super Charge/Quick Battery Swapping Technology and V2G Technology and to promote the results out of the cooperation globally.

The two partners will jointly apply for and conduct sponsored research projects and collectively explore and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), “Smart Campus,” and “Smart City” initiatives.

The “Key Project of Strategic Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation” by the MOST is one of the country’s most strategic and scaled sponsored programs and only selects and supports the country’s most innovative and cutting-edge R&D projects. The partner QiYuan Core Motive Power Technology Co. is an integrated energy service enterprise dedicated to green transportation. It is a subsidiary of The State Power Investment Cooperation Limited, China (SPIC). Empowered by national capital and investment from top-tier corporates, such as CATL, QiYuan has cooperated with enterprises in the whole industrial chain of smart transportation in China and become a major player in the field.
