13 October 2022: Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the University-Industry Foundation, Yonsei University (YUIF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster cooperation in research and technological development in environmental science under a global perspective.
The objective of the MOU is to promote research cooperation to contribute to the advancement of scientific research and technological development in environmental science under a global perspective and to the benefit of the international community at large.
Vice President of Academic Affairs, Prof. Shobhakar Dhakal, said, “AIT and YUIF intend to undertake research cooperation, especially international workshops, knowledge products, integrated assessment modeling support, climate policies and strategies and information necessary for establishing policy scenarios in Asian countries.”
Prof. Tae Yong Jung, Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University, coordinated this collaboration with AIT and said, “We are excited to extend this relationship with AIT and look forward to working together to develop and promote Asian research on climate change.”
