AIT President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto paid a courtesy call on Mr. Yeap Swee Chuan, President & CEO, AAPICO Hitech Public Company Limited at AAPICO Head Office on 27th October 2022.
AAPICO was established in 1996 and initially started with the manufacture of OEM automotive parts. Later on, the company expanded its business ventures into Car Dealerships and Motorcycle Distributorships Business, and also expanded into IoT Connectivity & Mobility Business. Today, AAPICO is a leading company in Thailand and the region in the above three business sectors.
Prof. Yamamoto introduced AIT and highlighted three possible areas of cooperation between AIT and AAPICO focusing on a naming relationship with the AIT Entrepreneurship Center,Master’s scholarships support from AAPICO and joint research through the AIT Artificial Intelligence Center. Also attending the meeting were Ms. Ratiya Chuyingsakulthip, Corporate Planning & Business Development, AAPICO Hitech PCL, Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe, Director, Office of Advancement & Alumni Affairs and Ms. Sirikate Owasit, Advancement Officer.
