Ir. Tan Chin Nyan, Managing Director, BBSB Holdings Sdn Bhd and AIT alumnus graduated Masters in Structural Engineering 1986 supports through his company the third Full Masters scholarship for a student of any nationality to enroll in Structural Engineering (STE), School of Engineering and Technology (SET) for the January 2023 intake.
BBSB Group of Companies commenced its business in 1997 as a relatively small prestressing specialist contractor, specializing in prestressing works and casting of post and pre-tensioned precast beams. As the Company grew, it has expanded its scope of capability and expertise by undertaking the full scope of bridge construction from foundation to bridge deck.
President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Ir. Tan Chin Nyan for his continued support, and further commented that such scholarship support is very important in attracting academically qualified students to pursue their postgraduate studies at AIT.
