Three Masters students’ enrolled in the School of Management (SOM) and School of Engineering and Technology (SET) received the Student Exchange scholarships. These scholarships subsidizes half of the total airfare, food & accommodation expenses during the students exchange program to globally recognized universities that AIT has cooperation agreements with.
Mr. Samyak Raj Shakya from Nepal is granted the Dr. Subin Pinkayan Exchange Scholarship enrolled in International Finance, SOM going for the exchange program to HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany.
Mr. Pongraphe Kangsanarak from Thailand is granted the AITAA Thailand Chapter Exchange Scholarship enrolled in Computer Science, SET going for the exchange program to University of Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Sparsh Jung Rana from Nepal is granted the Dr. Rafiul and Mrs. Frances Kasala Ahad Exchange Scholarship enrolled in International Finance, SOM going for the exchange program to EDHEC Business School, Nice, France.
AIT President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto stated that these Scholarship Exchanges are an integral part of the Experiential Education provided to our Master’s students thereby giving them an opportunity to broaden their international exposure through a one-semester academic exchange, which would further develop their mindset to become responsible citizens of the world.
President Prof. Yamamoto is grateful to Dr. Subin Pinkayan, Dr. Rafiul Ahad and Frances Kasala Ahad, and AITAA Thailand Chapter who have specifically supported these students in achieving their aspiration in providing the opportunity to go for the Exchange Program.
