March 24, 2023 – Ms. Bareerah Khalid, a Pakistani student enrolled in Agricultural Systems and Engineering, School of Environment, Resources and Development is the eleventh recipient of Dr. Subin Pinkayan Student Exchange Scholarships. The scholarship will cover her airfare expenses during the exchange program at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan from 1 April 2023 to 31 August 2023. She is selected to participate in the Young Science and Engineering Researchers Program (YSEP) and received the JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) scholarship at Tokyo Tech.
AIT President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto express his gratitude and thanks to Dr. Subin Pinkayan for his continuous support to the Institute. He stated that the Student Exchange Scholarship program would enable AIT Masters students to have the opportunity to broaden their International experience through a one-semester academic exchange to globally recognized Institute such as Tokyo Tech.
