27 July 2023 – Three Master’s students from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) are set to embark on exciting international exchange programs.
Ms. Niva Thapa, hailing from Nepal and enrolled in Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management (CEIM) at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), will be heading to Jönköping University in Sweden. Her exchange program is scheduled to take place from August 2023 to January 2024.

Similarly, Ms. Natthanan Duduang and Mr. Natdanai Jongsamak, both from Thailand and pursuing their studies in Urban Innovation and Sustainability (UIS) at the School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD). They have been selected for the exchange program at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in Taiwan, which will run from September 2023 to January 2024.

In recognition of their academic achievements and potential, Ms. Niva Thapa was awarded the prestigious Dr. Subin Pinkayan Student Exchange scholarship, while Ms. Natthanan Duduang and Mr. Natdanai Jongsamak received AIT Alumni Association Taiwan Chapter Student Exchange scholarships. These scholarships will help cover their expenses related to airfare, food, and accommodation during their time abroad.
AIT President, Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, expressed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Subin Pinkayan and the AIT Alumni Association Taiwan Chapter for their unwavering support to the Institute. President Yamamoto emphasized the importance of Student Exchange Programs as they offer AIT students an exceptional opportunity to broaden their knowledge at renowned universities worldwide, experience diverse cultures, and ultimately prepare them for successful professional careers in the future.
