11 August 2023 – Three Master’s Students from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) have secured Student Exchange Scholarships and will soon embark on a transformative academic journey.
Mr. Yasin Anam from Bangladesh, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics and Digital Transformation at the School of Management, is the first recipient of the Ningbo Four Seasons Fashion IMP & EXP Co. Ltd. Student Exchange Scholarship. He will attend the exchange program at EDHEC Business School in Lille, France.

Mr. Veerapong Anunpanakul, from Thailand, enrolled in Business Administration at the School of Management, and received the Lawsgroup Charity Student Exchange Scholarship. He will engage in an enriching exchange program at Tsinghua University in China.

Mr. Sichai Pongpayuha, from Thailand, is pursuing Construction Engineering and Infrastructure Management within the School of Engineering and Technology and was awarded the Dr. Rafiul Ahad and Mrs. Frances Kasala Ahad Student Exchange Scholarship. He will attend an exchange program at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.

These scholarships subsidize a portion of their airfare, accommodations, and food expenses.
AIT President, Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, wholeheartedly expressed his gratitude to the benefactors behind these scholarships: Ningbo Four Seasons Fashion IMP & EXP Co. Ltd., Lawsgroup Charity, and Dr. Rafiul Ahad and Mrs. Frances Kasala Ahad. Their generous support plays a pivotal role in enabling gifted students to participate in the transformative Exchange Program.
President Yamamoto emphasized that Student Exchange Programs serve as a gateway to a broader global perspective, offering students an immersive academic experience that expands their knowledge and network. This invaluable opportunity paves the way for a promising and impactful future, empowering these exceptional scholars to contribute as responsible global citizens.
