In our rapidly evolving world, proficiency in digital marketing is increasingly crucial for both individuals and businesses. As technology advances and social interactions shift towards online platforms, the ability to navigate and leverage digital channels becomes indispensable.

The demand for digital marketing expertise has surged in response to factors such as online commerce, social media, data analytics, and the integration of technology into marketing strategies. Addressing this growing need, the MSc Digital Marketing program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) School of Management (SOM) is designed to equip students with specialized knowledge and skills tailored to the dynamic field of digital marketing. Yet, more than being a tool for business success, digital marketing is also a pathway to building relationships, fostering understanding, and adapting to the ever-changing fabric of our interconnected society.

Dr. Roger Levermore, Vice President for Development (VPD), stated, “We introduced our digital marketing program to fill a market gap and address the evolving needs of students and businesses. Recognizing the importance of cutting-edge areas like neuromarketing, analytics, and AI in the digital marketing landscape, we responded to the demand in our core markets of Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal, ensuring our students are equipped with specialized skills sought after by today’s companies.”

Emphasizing advanced concepts, tools, and strategies for effective digital engagement, the program addresses the gap between traditional marketing education and the evolving demands of the digital era. Specialized courses in search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing (SEM), data analytics, and content strategy prepare students for the diverse roles emerging in the marketing field, from digital marketing managers to social media experts and e-commerce analysts.
