14 May 2024: The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and CSI Bangkok have established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering academic exchanges, entrepreneurship, and research and development alongside professional and consultancy programs. CSI Bangkok is the first BOI-approved company established inside AIT BOI Science and Technology Park.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, President of AIT, and Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO of CSI Bangkok, and Mr. Russell Rein, AIT Vice President for Administration, and Ms. Suthathip Thanakorn, CSI Bangkok Admin Director signed as witnesses.
The agreement encompasses various collaborative activities, such as knowledge exchange, business development, facility utilization, and brand cooperation. It includes co-organizing capacity-building events, seminars, and workshops that connect technology solutions with market needs. The MoU supports the exchange and placement of experts and interns, participation in career fairs, and collaborative mentoring and incubation of startups, all geared toward promoting innovation and economic growth.


CSI Bangkok is a recently established firm with the primary goal of accelerating the integration of emerging technologies into the software developed by Computers and Structures Inc. (CSI), based in the USA. Situated at the Board of Investment (BOI) Science and Technology Park, within the premises of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand, CSI Bangkok proudly stands as the inaugural company to be granted the esteemed status and accompanying privileges of the BOI Science and Technology Park.
From CSI Bangkok, the event was attended by Ms. Suthathip Thanakorn, Admin Director, and Amir Izhar, Director of Software Development.
