Amidst this enriching atmosphere, participants shared their insights and experiences. Mr. Hoang Hung Manh, a Research Specialist at SET reflected, “After attending the SET staff development workshop focusing on communication, work engagement, and growth, I found it incredibly beneficial. The sessions provided practical strategies for improving interpersonal communication and fostering a more engaged and collaborative work environment. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on personal and professional growth, which inspired me to set new goals for my own development. Through the workshop, I also got to know more about my SET colleagues. Overall, the workshop was a valuable experience that equipped me with new skills and perspectives to enhance my effectiveness and satisfaction at work. I would like to thank the SET Dean, SET staff, and others that made the first SET staff development workshop successful.”

Ms. Ajeng Triwuri Widyastuti, Program Officer at SET, another workshop participant, added, “The workshop on Communication, Engagement and Growth was one of the self-development activities that were previously discussed and proposed by the staff during the School retreat, and I truly appreciate its realization. The workshop material is not only beneficial for our personal growth but also strengthens employee bonds through group activities. One session stood out to me, where we identified challenges in workplace communication and discussed our approaches. Subsequently, we received feedback from peers on our communication strategies. I find this aspect particularly engaging, as we rarely receive genuine feedback on how we can improve our communication skills in day-to-day work.”
