Congratulations to Dr. Attaphongse Taparugssanagorn on being promoted from the rank of Associate Professor to Full Professor, following the approval of the Board of Trustees on July 1, 2024.

Dr. Attaphongse joined AIT as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) in 2015 and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2018. He holds a Doctor of Technology degree in Wireless Communications Engineering from the Centre for Wireless Communication, University of Oulu, Finland (2007), a Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering degree from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern, Germany (2001), and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand (1997).
Dr. Attaphongse’s current areas of research include signal processing, wireless communications, machine learning, deep neural networks, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things. His solo-authored book, “The Rhythm of Signals: Classical Signal Processing and Non-Classical Signal Processing,” was published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in August 2023.
