21 August 2024: AIT President, Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto and Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO of CSi Bangkok Co., Ltd. signed the donation agreement on 21 August 2024. This donation will create a new CSI America scholarships worth USD 25,000 per year starting from the August 2024 intake and lasting for a period of 4 years, totaling USD 100,000.

These scholarships are open to Pakistani master’s candidates as well as students of other nationalities who are enrolling in Structural Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET).
President Yamamoto extends his gratitude to both Dr. Ashraf Habibullah, Founder & CEO of CSI America and Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO, CSi Bangkok Co. Ltd., for their steadfast support to the Institute. CSI America’s total contributions to AIT over the years amounts to more than 200 million Thai Baht, making CSI America as one of the most significant private sector donors in the Institute’s history.
Dr. Naveed stated that the partnership between AIT and CSI America will continue to provide scholarships and support various joint collaborations with AIT faculty, students and outreach offices, thereby playing a vital role in advancing innovation and sustainable development.
Mr. Sanjeev Jayasinghe, the Executive Director of Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs expressed his appreciation to Dr. Ashraf for his generous support towards the CSI America scholarships, which will benefit Pakistani, as well as students from other nationalities in pursuit of their academic endeavors at AIT adding value to their career development.
Prof. Sangam Shrestha, Dean, School of Engineering & Technology conveyed his appreciation to CSI America for their ongoing scholarships support, particularly within the School of Engineering & Technology, and grateful for this long-term partnership that will benefit more academically qualified students in the future.
