Five Master Students receives the Student Exchange Scholarships

Five Masters students from the School of Management (SOM), School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), and School of Engineering and Technology (SET) are awarded the Student Exchange scholarships.  These scholarships cover fifty percent of the airfare, food & accommodation costs for their exchange programs at internationally renowned universities with which AIT has established agreements.  

AIT President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto emphasized that these exchange programs offer Master’s students the chance to enhance their global perspective by participating in a one-semester academic exchange, fostering the growth of their mindset towards becoming conscientious global citizens.  

President Yamamoto added that AIT expresses gratitude to Lawsgroup Charity, AITAA Taiwan Chapter, Thai Pipe Industry Co. Ltd., Dr. Rafiul Ahad and Frances Kasala Ahad, and AIT Chinese Alumni in Thailand for their dedicated support in helping these students realize their goals by enabling them to participate in the Exchange Program.

Students participating to the Exchange program, namely:

Ms. Jirawan Suwannasichon, a Thai student, Masters in Business Administration from the School of Management going to Tsinghua University in China, is awarded the Lawsgroup Charity exchange scholarship.

Mr. Wattanai Phuangsombat, a Thai student, Masters in Business Administration from the School of Management going to National Taiwan University, Taiwan is awarded the AITAA Taiwan Chapter exchange scholarship.

Mr. Warakorn Pumma, a Thai student in Urban Innovation and Sustainability from the School of Environment, Resources and Development going to Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan is awarded the Thai Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. exchange scholarship.

Mr. Yakdehi Kankanamge Sameera Sandaruwan, a Sri Lankan student in Environmental Engineering and Management from the School of Environment, Resources and Development going to University of Chinese Academy of Science (UCAS), China is awarded the AIT Chinese Alumni in Thailand exchange scholarship.

Mr. Sahassawat Runganothai, a Thai student in Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Management from the School of Engineering and Technology is going to Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan is awarded the Dr. Rafiul Ahad and Mrs. Frances Kasala Ahad exchange scholarship.
