On Thursday, 24 October 2024, the AIT International Affairs Unit, under the Office of International and Public Affairs, hosted a special presentation titled “Exploring Research and Study Opportunities in France.” Held at the AIT Video-Teleconference Room at the Library, the session welcomes distinguished delegates from the Embassy of France in Thailand:
- Dr. Ludovic Andres, Science and Higher Education Attaché
- Mr. Johan Broc, Cooperation Officer for Scientific, Academic, and Climate Affairs
- Ms. Roxane Poitou, Project Officer for Higher Education, Head of Campus France Thailand

The presentation offered AIT faculty members, staff, and students a valuable opportunity to learn about various programs and grants available for research and higher education in France. Key programs discussed included the Franco-Thai Scholarship, the Young Talent Fellowship, and the Hubert Curien Partnership Siam (PHC Siam).
This educational collaboration initiative, led by the Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation Section of the French Embassy in Thailand, aims to:
- Monitor advances in science and technology in Thailand
- Establish and strengthen partnerships in science and technology
- Support the development of cooperation between universities
- Provide services for universities and students regarding student mobility
- Promote exchanges of students, researchers, and young entrepreneurs through a dedicated program


This session marked a meaningful step towards bolstering international academic and scientific collaboration, reinforcing AIT’s commitment to enriching global partnerships and broadening its community’s access to high-caliber educational and research opportunities in France.
