27 March 2025: The AIT Career Fair and Student Research Exhibition 2025, hosted by the AIT Career Center on 26 March 2025, brought together students and recruiters from a wide range of companies and industries. This biannual event serves as a vital bridge between academic excellence and the evolving demands of the global job market.

Addressing the gathering, AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li encouraged students to make the most of the occasion, stating, “This event presents an excellent opportunity for students to explore diverse career pathways, engage with industry professionals, and identify prospects that align with your goals and aspirations.”


Prof. Manukid Parnichkun, Vice President for Academic and Research (VPAR), echoed this sentiment, encouraging attendees to view the fair not just as a networking opportunity but as a meaningful step toward achieving their long-term goals.
This year’s event welcomed 26 organizations, including 14 first-time participants such as Chememan PCL, Krungthai Food PCL, Huneety Co. Ltd., N.C.X. Co. Ltd., Senior Aerospace Limited, BRED IT Limited, Krones Co. Ltd., Linxens Co. Ltd., Metro Machinery Co. Ltd., The Siam Gypsum Industry Co. Ltd., Siegwerk Ltd., Asset World Corp. Public Company Limited, China Mobile International (Thailand) Ltd., and MDPI (Thailand) Co. Ltd.

Alongside these newcomers, 13 long-standing partners returned, reaffirming their commitment to AIT’s talent pipeline. These included Aioi Bangkok Insurance PCL, AltoTech Global Co. Ltd., Alstom Transport Systems Ltd., Bay Computing Public Co. Ltd., Christiani & Nielsen PCL, Double A PCL, Magnecomp Precision Technology PCL, MDPI Co. Ltd., Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System, Think Blue Data Co. Ltd., TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management PCL, Tractebel Engineering Ltd., and Vinarco Recruitment Limited. From innovative tech firms to engineering, manufacturing, and finance leaders, these companies offered students a rich platform for exploration, networking, and career growth.


Mr. Avrojyoti Barua, an alumnus of the Sustainable Energy Transition program at SERD and now a Project Engineer (Renewable) at Tractebel, credited the AIT Career Fair for his career breakthrough. “The career fair helped me connect with a leading international company and paved my way to employment. I encourage students to attend these fairs as they provide valuable opportunities, ” he shared.
Mr. Anusit Phipatananukit, APAC Recruitment Manager at Huneety Co. Ltd.—a first-time participant—highlighted the rising demand for AI and digital skills. He advised graduates to focus on impact, “Be specific and concise in your resume—highlight what you have truly achieved and how you have improved processes.”
Linxens, a French multinational specializing in RFID inlays, sought graduates for roles in R&D, engineering, and project management. Mr. Anish Peringottu Madathil, Head of Process and Equipment Engineering at Linxens, urged students to be open to opportunities beyond their immediate field of study. “Today’s job market is diverse, and skills from one discipline can often lead to success in another. Events like this provide a broader range of opportunities, so it is important to be flexible and consider roles that align with your core strengths,” he advised.
Mr. Billapati Vivek, a Master’s student in the CSIM-SET program, appreciated the fair as a platform for building connections and exploring future paths. “The recruiters were approachable, and it helped me understand how my skills align with industry needs. However, we could benefit from having more IT companies participate,” he noted.
The fair also drew external visitors, reflecting its growing reach. Among them was Ms. Modupe Thomas from Nigeria, a Bachelor of Design graduate from the University of Tasmania, Australia. “I came seeking full-time or internship opportunities, but more importantly, I wanted to build confidence and connect with others. Speaking with recruiters helped me overcome initial hesitation and made the experience truly worthwhile,” she said.


The event featured a Student Research Exhibition, showcasing 16 innovative student projects. Visitors also enjoyed attractions such as free medical check-ups by B.Care Medical Center, giveaways from Western Union, food stalls, games, raffle prizes, and a dedicated networking session. Ms. Carla Gonzalez, Coordinator of the Career Center and Student Welfare Unit at AIT, emphasized the fair’s continued success in connecting students with real-world opportunities. She shared that the event continues to be a popular and effective platform for securing internships and job placements, offering AIT students valuable career opportunities.
By consistently organizing events like this, AIT demonstrates its commitment to supporting students in their transition from academia to the professional world—ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in a competitive global job market. The continued success of the fair highlights the strengthening connection between education and industry, paving the way for a bright future for emerging professionals.
