On March 4, 2025, a formal donation agreement was signed between AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li and Prof. Cherng-Tyan Su, President of the AITAA ROC Chapter. The alumni supported a total contribution of THB 1,200,000 towards the renovation of single-unit student dormitories in Dorm F. In recognition of this generous donation, the names of the alumni donors, along with the AITAA ROC Chapter, will be engraved on a plaque that will be placed at the entrance door of the Single Unit Student Dormitories in Dorms F# 33 to #38 (6 units). The naming will remain in place for the lifespan of the room.
During the ceremony, AIT President Prof. Li expressed appreciation to the AITAA ROC Chapter and 30 prominent alumni for their generosity. He highlighted the significance of their contribution to the renovation of the Single Unit Student Dormitories which will greatly benefit both current and future students, enhancing their living conditions in AIT.
Prof. Cherng-Tyan Su, President, AITAA ROC Chapter, emphasized the strong and enduring bond between AIT and its alumni. He reiterated the commitment of the AITAA ROC Chapter to providing a nurturing environment for students. He also noted that campaigns like this would inspire more alumni to give back to their alma mater.
The Single-Unit Student Dormitory Renovation Campaign is initiated and coordinated by the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, AIT.
