On 10 April 2025, Dr. Yaseen delivered an invited talk titled “The Role of Higher Education Institutions in Empowering Communities through Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building” at the 2025 International Capacity Building Workshop on Education for Sustainable Rural Development, held at Beijing. The event was organised by UNESCO-INRULED and Beijing Normal University. In his presentation, Dr. Yaseen highlighted AIT’s strategic contributions to
community development through education, innovation, and regional partnerships.

In a notable gesture of academic collaboration, a student from FANR also attended the conference as an observer.
