July 4, 20205 :The School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is pleased to share the release of the book titled “Nano-Solutions for Sustainable Water and Wastewater Management: From Monitoring to Treatment”, (ISBN: 978-3-031-82793-8, DOI: 10.1007/978-3-031-82794-5).

This comprehensive volume is co-edited by Dr. Sushil Kumar Himanshu, Assistant Professor at SERD’s Agricultural and Systems Engineering (ASE) academic program, under the Department of Food, Agriculture and Bioresources (FANR). Dr. Himanshu collaborated with Dr. Manoj Garg, Dr. Vishnu D. Rajput, and Prof. Tatiana Minkina to develop a resource that explores how cutting-edge nanotechnology can transform water and wastewater management. The book offers in-depth perspectives on solutions ranging from advanced monitoring techniques to innovative treatment systems to help address global water challenges.
“Our goal was to create a resource that not only contributes to academic research but also drives practical, scalable solutions to critical water issues worldwide,” said Dr. Himanshu. “I sincerely appreciate the collaboration with my esteemed colleagues and am hopeful about the impact this work can have on advancing a more sustainable future.”
The publication underscores AIT’s commitment to conducting research that delivers tangible benefits, strengthens community resilience and advances global sustainability goals. It also highlights the school’s focus on integrating science and technology to address urgent environmental needs.
AIT and SERD congratulate Dr. Himanshu for the publication.
The book is now available on major platforms, including Springer and Amazon.
