Bangkok, 26 August 2025 – The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Zhen Ding Technology Group (ZDT) have signed a three-year Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to co-organize annual flagship events in Thailand that will spotlight cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and global partnerships.

Building on an MoU signed in May 2025 to advance global tech talent and innovation, the new MoA formalizes the collaboration with structured activities running from September 2025 to August 2028.
The initiative’s centerpiece is the World Forum on Technology Development and Sustainability, a two-day event modeled on the World Economic Forum, set to debut in June 2026. The forum will convene leaders from academia, government, industry, embassies, and international organizations to shape dialogue on technology, policy, and sustainable growth.
Complementing the main forum, AIT and ZDT will also organize four half-day Distinguished Lecture events annually. The first of these is scheduled for November 2025, with a focus on the Semiconductor, one of the fastest-growing sectors in the global high-tech industry.
“These events are designed to elevate AIT’s leadership in higher education while showcasing ZDT’s global standing in high technology,” said AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li. “Together, we are building a powerful platform to connect governments, industries, and global partners in advancing innovation and sustainability.”
The events will be hosted in Bangkok and will serve as a hub for multi-stakeholder engagement, including government agencies, international embassies, industries, and global foundations.
By combining academic excellence with industrial innovation, AIT and ZDT aim to foster knowledge-sharing, strengthen partnerships, and build global networks that will drive high-tech innovation and sustainable development in the region.
