29 October 2025: The AIT Career Center hosted its annual Career Forum, serving as a dynamic platform that bridged academia and industry. The event brought together students and leading companies through exhibitions, talk sessions, and mock interviews, helping students explore potential career paths, build professional networks, and gain valuable real-world insights into the job market.
In his welcome remarks, Prof. Manukid Parnichkun, Vice President for Academic and Research, emphasized the importance of the Career Forum as a link between education and employment. He noted that such platforms allow students to engage directly with industry experts, learn about evolving professional landscapes, and plan their own pathways for success. Prof. Manukid also expressed his gratitude to all participating organizations, the AIT Career Center, Student Union, and volunteers for making the event a success.
Prof. Siddharth K. Jabade, Vice President for Administration and Development, spoke about the need for purpose-driven careers and the development of human skills in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. He encouraged students to use AI as a tool to improve productivity but not as a substitute for creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. “A job is a subset of a career, and a career is a subset of one’s mission and purpose,” Prof. Jabade reminded participants, urging them to make the most of the event to learn, connect, and redefine their career goals.
This year’s forum featured 20 organizations, including 13 first-time participants, representing both global corporations and emerging local enterprises. The companies included Advanced Refinery Technology (ARTIS), Alstom Transport, AltoTech Global, Beyond Climate Solutions, Cyber Lumen Mist Academy, Educational Leadership Centre (ELC), DigitalBlast, Inc., Green & Blue Planet Solutions, Indorama Ventures, Inventec Electronics (Thailand), Laxmi Group, New Space Intelligence, NIMB Ace, Pathumthani Concrete (PACO), Peng Shen Tech, SafeComs, Sertis, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Taiwan Education Center Thailand (TECT), Think Blue Data, Vinarco Recruitment, and Yeong Guan Heavy Industry (Thailand).
A series of four talk sessions explored the future of work, leadership, and growth. The first, “Will a Robot Take Your Job?”, examined AI’s impact on employment, urging students to adapt and innovate. The second, “Speak the Difference,” emphasised cultural understanding and communication in leadership. The third, “Unlock Your Why,” motivated learners to find purpose and align careers with fulfillment. The final, “Lead the World Forward,” highlighted opportunities in NGOs, INGOs, and international organizations, inspiring students to contribute to global progress.
The AIT Student Union organized mock interview sessions that provided participants with hands-on experience and constructive feedback from mentors and peers. These sessions helped students strengthen their communication skills, refine their professional presentation, and build confidence for future job interviews.
The Career Forum also featured interactive games, raffles, and giveaways hosted by participating companies. A major highlight was an exciting on-site electronic raffle offering a round-trip ticket from Philippine Airlines.
