On 17 October 2025, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) was honoured to receive a donation of USD 27,000 from the Element Solutions Foundation to support tuition fees for two Master students in the January 2026 intake.
The contribution was made on the occasion of the opening of MacDermid’s expanded analytical laboratory in Thailand a facility jointly operated by MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions and MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions.
Equipped with advanced analytical and testing technologies, the new lab reinforces MacDermid’s commitment to fostering innovation, research collaboration, and talent development in the region.
Prof. Siddharth K. Jabade, Vice President for Administration & Development at AIT, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of AIT to MacDermid Enthone and MacDermid Alpha for their generous donation. He noted that the contribution highlights a shared dedication to education, innovation, and fostering a long-term collaboration between AIT and MacDermid.
