AIT Ranked #5 in Thailand by ScholarGPS; Six Faculty Named Top Scholars

7 January 2026 – The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has been ranked #5 in Thailand in the ScholarGPS Academic Institutional Ranking – National Overall (all fields) under the Lifetime Impact category. ScholarGPS, a U.S.-based scholarly analytics platform, also recognised six AIT faculty members among its top-ranked scholars in their respective specialities, based on indicators including publications, citations, and h-index.

The ranking places AIT among Thailand’s leading academic institutions for lifetime scholarly impact. The following AIT faculty members are listed in the ScholarGPS 2025 Ranking under the Top Scholars by Institution category  (Top 0.05% globally in their respective specialty):
