27 March 2026 – The AIT Career Fair and Student Research Exhibition 2026, organized by the AIT Career Center in collaboration with the AIT Student Union, was held on 25 March 2026 at the AIT Conference Center. The annual event brought together students, researchers, and industry professionals, offering a dynamic platform for career exploration, networking, and academic exchange.

In his address, Prof. Siddharth K. Jabade, AIT Vice President for Administration and Development (VPAD), highlighted the growing importance of strong academia–industry collaboration in today’s rapidly evolving global landscape. He thanked the participating companies for their continued support and emphasized that the event goes beyond recruitment, serving as a platform for learning, engagement and professional growth. He also encouraged students to take full advantage of the opportunity to gain exposure and broaden their perspectives.
This year’s fair showcased 16 organisations from various sectors, including engineering, manufacturing, energy, consulting, IT, and sustainability. Among them were 13 long-standing partners: AltoTech Global; Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC); Christiani & Nielsen (Thai) PCL; Double A (1991) PCL; Fabrinet; Institute of International Education (IIE); Magnecomp Precision Technology PCL; Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd., N.C.X. Co. Ltd.; Nippon Koei Energy (Thailand); Peng Shen Tech; SafeComs Network Security Consulting, and Yeong Guan Heavy Industry (Thailand) who have consistently supported the event over the years.

Three new organizations: Celestica (Thailand) Ltd.; SalesMind AI; and Tai & Chyun Engineering Service (Thailand) also joined this year, engaging directly with students and sharing insights into industry trends, hiring practices, and emerging opportunities.
Ms. Christina Ong, Senior HR Director, Talent Acquisition & HRBP Asia of Celestica, highlighted the company’s interest in building its talent pipeline. She noted the growing demand for engineering and technical roles and emphasized the need for candidates who are adaptable and forward-thinking. She encouraged students to be confident, open to new ideas and proactive in gaining experience. She also stressed that internships, leadership roles and extracurricular involvement can help candidates stand out in the hiring process.
Mr. Kanignan Srivanlop, Human Resources Manager from Altotech Global, returning for the second time, emphasized the company’s focus on hiring adaptable and self-driven candidates across roles in software development, IoT engineering, and project functions. He noted that the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies is more important than specializing in a single skill. He also highlighted the long-term value of networking, noting that connections made in such events can lead to future opportunities.
Students had the opportunity to interact with recruiters, submit CVs for internships and job placements, and gain firsthand exposure to professional expectations. The event also featured interactive booths, games, and giveaways organized by participating companies and sponsors, creating an engaging and lively environment.
Ms. Laiba Muneer, a final-year student in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Pakistan, reflected on her experience attending the career over the years. She noted that each fair has continued to improve and shared that the event offered a valuable exposure to emerging roles across industries, making it a meaningful experience for students exploring different career paths.
Mr.Uday Jyoti Das, a first-year MBA student from India, also shared his positive experience, highlighting the wide range of opportunities available across industries. He noted that the diversity of companies and roles, particularly in operations and logistics, made the event specially valuable. He also commended the organizers for delivering a well-executed event and expressed interest in seeing much more such initiatives in the future.
In addition to the career fair, the Student Research Exhibition featured 16 research poster presentations by AIT students. The exhibition provided a platform to showcase innovative ideas, share ongoing research, and engage in discussions with peers and industry representatives.
Supported by sponsors including Western Union, Thai Liwayway Food Industries, Philippine Airlines Thailand, B. Care Medical Center and AIT Library, the event also included food trucks, entertainment booths, and raffle activities, enhancing the overall student experience.
By connecting students with a diverse range of organizations, the AIT Career Fair 2026 provided valuable insights into career pathways, industry expectations, and recruitment practices. It also enabled participants to build professional networks and explore internship and employment opportunities.The integration of the research exhibition further highlighted AIT’s strong academic foundation and commitment to innovation. Overall, the event underscored AIT’s role in preparing students for the demands of a competitive global workforce.
