Title: Advancing Signal Processing for Intelligent Sensing and Next-Generation Wireless Communications
Abstract:
Future wireless systems are evolving toward intelligent, autonomous, and highly connected networks, creating new challenges in sensing, signal processing, and communication system design. This presentation provides an overview of my research contributions toward addressing these challenges through advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence techniques.
My research spans two complementary directions: signal processing for intelligent sensing and signal processing for next-generation wireless communication systems. In intelligent sensing, I have developed signal processing frameworks for RF situational awareness and autonomous UAV sensing to improve spectrum awareness, airspace surveillance, and navigation reliability. In wireless communications, my research focuses on AI-enabled receiver design, advanced multiple access techniques, and reliable low-latency communications for future 6G networks. These contributions have resulted in efficient receiver architectures, intelligent resource management algorithms, and robust communication techniques for increasingly complex wireless environments.
In addition to my research, I will discuss my teaching experience, graduate student supervision, and participation in international research collaborations. Finally, I will present my vision for establishing a research program that integrates signal processing, artificial intelligence, and wireless communications to enable intelligent sensing, autonomous systems, and next-generation wireless networks.
