Microplastics have emerged as a pressing global environmental issue with far-reaching implications for water and air quality, as well as human health. This event will:
- Enhance scientific awareness of microplastic pollution and its critical impacts on water and air systems essential for human well-being.
- Provide a platform for policy-driven knowledge exchange and the sharing of strategic approaches to air and water quality management aligned with national frameworks, regional collaboration, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Strengthen cooperation among government agencies, academic institutions, the private sector, and local communities to promote collective actions toward environmental sustainability.
