About the Program:
Chongqing, a leading industrial hub in China, boasts extensive experience in advancing green technologies and has emerged as a vital center for green innovation and international collaboration. This program is jointly organized by AIT BRRC and Chongqing Renewable Energy Society (CRES), both of which serve as international/ regional platforms dedicated to fostering collaborative and innovative activities that drive robust economic growth and sustainable development in the region.
The program offers a platform for forging exchanges and collaborations in green industries and sustainable development through technical visits to Chongqing-based enterprises and discussions with local government officials, entrepreneurs, and experts. Building on the success of programs in 2024, it continues to facilitate experience sharing on environmental protection, energy transition, and climate change strategies, while strengthening networks and partnerships between Chongqing and Southeast Asia.
Activities
- Visit the Chongqing Renewable Energy Society and Innovation & Industrial Park.
- Seminar on Energy and Environmental Protection with Local Entrepreneurs.
- Visit Renewable Energy enterprises and Green technology Projects (from total of 30 enterprises based in Chongqing, focusing on energy saving, charging piles, AC industries, Smart lighting and distributed energy, Environmental industries, etc.).
- Cultural sightseeing and Free activity.
