Right Tunneling PCL Scholarships for August 2022

Right Tunnelling Public Company Limited was found in 2000 by Mr. Chawalit Tanomtin (Chief Executive Officer and AIT alumnus in GTE’79) to engage in the Geotechnical construction business especially in open rock excavation and underground rock excavation. 

Right Tunnelling has been expanding to grow in construction business where such clients are local government agencies, Royal Irrigation Department (RID), Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), Department of Highways (DOH), Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (De De) and those in private sector.

Scholarship coverage:

24 credits tuition master’s scholarship and 4-semester registration fees with 24 credits AIT Scholarship for an academically qualified Master’s student and thereby making it a full tuition and registration fees scholarship to the prospective students. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

  • hold a Bachelor’s degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in an appropriate field of study from an institution of good standing acceptable to AIT;
  • have undergraduate grades significantly above average; the minimum cGPA requirement for admission to the Master’s Program is 2.75 or equivalent, at the Bachelor’s degree level;
  • English Proficiency Requirement: AIT-EET:6 or IELTS-Academic:6 (writing 6) or TOEFL Paper: 550 (writing 59-61) or TOEFL CBT: 213 (writing 25-26): TOEFL IBT: 80 (writing 21-23);
  • be in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct

Criteria of the scholarships for August 2022:

A student from Vietnam, Myanmar or Cambodia to be enrolled either in Geotechnical & Earth Resources Engineering (GTE) program in SET or Business Analytics and Digital Transformation (BADT) program in SOM.
