This is for those who successfully completed their studies amidst the challenging backdrop of the COVID 19 pandemic. This ceremony will include graduates from the May 2020 to December 2021 cohorts, who were not able to attend the earlier ceremonies.

If you are interested to attend this ceremony, please fill up the form. The deadline to submit the form is 27 October 2023. Regrettably, we will be unable to consider any requests received after this deadline.

The event is scheduled to take place on the 14th of December 2023, in conjunction with our regular December 2023 graduation ceremony.

GRADUATION REHEARSAL:

The graduation rehearsal will be on Wednesday, 13 December 2023, in the Robert B. Banks Auditorium, AIT Conference Center.

• b) Session 1: Starts at 10:00 am for special graduation ceremony
• c) Session 2: Starts at 03:00 pm (includes AIT administration and faculty members)

All graduands must attend both the morning and afternoon rehearsals. No excuse will be accepted for not attending the rehearsals (e.g., family members to pick-up at the airport, job interview, special appointment, etc.). Thus, please ensure that you are available on the rehearsal day. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony. No need to wear graduation gown/hood during the rehearsals.

GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHS:

Graduands must complete the photograph request form and pay the cost at the Cashier: Baht 300.00* for Master’s and Baht 450.00* for Doctoral Students. The photos can be claimed on 18 December 2023.

DEGREE CERTIFICATE AND DEGREE COVER:

Please pay Baht 300.00* for the degree cover.

GOWNS AND HOODS:

Graduands must pay Baht 900.00* rent for the Graduation Gown and Hood. Give to the Registry staff concerned the receipt and your student ID card/number or your graduation semester and year when you claim the gown and hood on 12 December 2023, 9.00 am Room 109, 1st floor of AIT Extension. Please note that it is prohibited for non-graduating students to wear AIT gowns. Please do not lend AIT gowns to friends or relatives.

Make sure that you have the correct hood:

The gown/hood is advised to be worn only during the graduation ceremony. No need to wear them during the rehearsals.

Gowns and hoods should be returned back to Room 109 immediately after the ceremony. Graduates who return gowns and hoods after graduation day will be fined B1,000.00 per day. Photos will not be released without proof of return of gown/hood certified by a Registry staff.

GRADUATION ATTIRE:

You need to wear semi-formal attire during the graduation ceremony. Specifically, black shoes, black pants, and long-sleeved polo shirts for men; black flat or medium-heeled closed shoes and dresses (maximum ankle-length) for women. Rubber shoes, jeans, open casual shoes, very high-heeled shoes, and very long dresses (floor length) are not allowed.

As an Alumni, you can avail of the 25 percent alumni discount on rooms only at AITCC but need to book using an alumni card. 1) December 12, 2023: Gown Collection at AIT Extension Building
a) Location: Room 109, First Floor
b) Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Note: Kindly present either a soft or hard copy of your receipt (paid fees) and ensure personal collection of your gown.

2) December 13, 2023: Graduation Rehearsal
a) Venue: Robert B. Banks (RBB)-AIT Conference Center (AITCC)
b) Session 1: Starts at 10:00 am
c) Session 2: Starts at 03:00 pm (includes AIT administration and faculty members)

3) December 14, 2023: Photo Session and Graduation Ceremony

a) Morning: Group photo session together with the December 2023 graduating scholars — by the Academic Programs-wise -will be advised during the rehearsal
b) Please arrive at AITCC by 7:45 am and line up according to your programs — to be advised by our registry team on-site.
c) Afternoon: The graduation ceremony begins. Assemble on the second floor of the AITCC by 1:30 pm for line-up. The ceremony will commence at 2:00 pm.

Note for your Family and Friends: We kindly request that your parents and relatives be seated in the RBB, AITCC by 1:30 pm

18 December 2023: Claim graduation photos. You can request your friend to get the photos  and show the receipt 

Please note you need to follow the process and pay the charges above, whether you would like to have a photo and degree cover or not.

SUMMARY OF SCHEDULE

*Total amount to be paid Baht is 1,500 for Master‘s and 1,650 for Doctoral. This includes charges for photo, gown and hood rent, and degree cover. These charges are to be paid through bank transfer to the AIT Bank account or at the cashier, Finance office -AIT. Please upload those receipts in the Google form.
