Research focuses on advancing earthquake and tsunami engineering through physics-based numerical modeling, nonlinear structural response analysis, and integrated earthquake simulation. Therefore, a multi-hazard risk assessment tool is being developed, incorporating statistical modeling and uncertainty quantification to enhance disaster resilience. The work integrates coupling systems for large-scale analysis and utilizes parallel programming on CPUs and GPUs to accelerate computational simulations. The goal is to bridge fundamental research with real-world applications for improving the accuracy and efficiency of disaster risk assessments
