Description- Project for promoting the Minamata Convention on Mercury by making the most of Japan’s knowledge and experiences supports its member states for the implementation of the Convention. Following the outcomes of the inception workshop, the needs of the participating countries are compiled into the project implementation plan. The project supports the Governments for improving their national mercury-related information base to implement mercury management.
