Description – The project aims to support the Royal Forest Department in enhancing timber traceability and reducing processing time for timber verification through the development of appropriate technological solutions. Projects outputs include
- the Feasibility Study for identifying appropriate technological solutions to enhance timber traceability was conducted,
- web/Mobile application to support RFD officials for inspections/verifications of timber legality developed,
- advocacy/communication materials are developed for project visibility and training materials are prepared to train RFD officials on web/mobile application
- recommendations for appropriate technological solutions and their deployment presented to stakeholders.
