Students will receive the broad-based academic background needed for a career in engineering design, research, consulting, or academia. The AIT brings 60 years of regional experience in water education and research, complemented by the University of Iowa\u2019s century of global leadership in fluids-related teaching and research, including experimentation (both laboratory and field-scale) and mathematical modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dual Degree Structure &amp; Pathway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"329\" src=\"https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-1024x329.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12221\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-1024x329.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-300x96.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-768x247.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-1536x493.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/ait.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Dual-Degree-Structure-Pathway-ait-iowa-2048x657.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Hold a bachelor\u2019s degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent<\/li><li>The minimum undergraduate GPA requirement for admission to the master\u2019s program is 3.0 or equivalent<\/li><li><strong>AIT:<\/strong>&nbsp;IELTS-Academic: 6 (writing 6)<ul><li>TOEFL Paper: 550 (writing 59-61)<\/li><li>TOELF CBT: 213 (writing 25-26)<\/li><li>TOEFL IBT: 80 (writing 21-23)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>UI:<\/strong>&nbsp;TOEFL IBT: 81<ul><li>IELTS: total score of 7.0 (no sub-score less than 6.0)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Students satisfying the AIT requirement can be admitted to the program; however, to continue to Phase 2, students must achieve the UI scores for English proficiency while at AIT.<\/li><li>Two letters of recommendation<\/li><li><strong>GRE:<\/strong>&nbsp;301 (verbal + quantitative) Students without GRE can also be admitted to the program; however, to continue to Phase 2, they must achieve the required GRE score while at AIT.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates should apply for admission at AIT, which can be done online on the website:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ait.ac.th\/admissions\">www.ait.ac.th\/admissions<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><u>The application deadline for AIT is 30 May for the following August.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students need to submit their applications for admission to UI during their first year at AIT. Online application for the Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering program at UI can be found on the website:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineering.uiowa.edu\/future-students\/graduate-studies\/line-application\">https:\/\/www.engineering.uiowa.edu\/future-students\/graduate-studies\/line-application<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><u>The application deadline for UI is 28 February.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students need to submit their application for admission to UI by February 28 during their year of studies at AIT.
