Growth Aspiration

“In 2015 Bangladesh leaving behind the status of a least developed country crossed the bar and entered into the Lower Middle-Income Country group. The country aspires to achieve the developed country status by 2041.

Sustainable Energy Sector

“It is undeniable that fundamental need is to make the energy sector sustainable, secure, and disaster-resilient as it holds the lifeline of economic and social growth within planetary boundaries. One intrinsic challenge of energy for development in the context of Bangladesh is how to meet the increasing demand for energy services and under what fuel mix. “

Climate Change  & Disaster

“Recurrent and cascades of natural disasters and climate change-induced challenges that threaten Bangladesh make the developmental challenges complex. Never before the geographically fragmented world have to think of managing a global common asset like climate system.”
