AIT’s MBA Program Ranks No 1 for Three Consecutive Years

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)’s Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program, under the School of Management (SOM), has been ranked #1 in Thailand and #21 in Asia in the latest QS Global MBA Rankings 2023, released on September 29. The program has also been ranked #10 in Asia and #71-80 in Career Specialization Rankings 2023: Entrepreneurship.

AIT maintains an overall high rank in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings

The THE Impact Rankings measure how universities worldwide are performing against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite the increasing number of competing universities from 1,107 in the previous year, AIT maintained its overall rank of 100-200 out of 1,406 universities from 106 countries/regions.

The UN has 17 global sustainable development goals for 2030. This year AIT participated in 13 of them and ranked in the Top 100 in 4 and 100-200 in 6. Out of all participating universities, AIT is placed in the Top Worldwide band in 9 SDGs this year, up from 6 last year. AIT’s overall ranking has gone up every year

AIT Ranks 15th Globally by Times Higher Education for SDG 1 “No Poverty” Work 2021

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok ranks 15th in the world in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021 for its work to end poverty, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal: SDG1 – No Poverty. Work on four other SDGs also positions the institute in the global top 100.

The THE Impact Rankings measure how universities worldwide are performing against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over 1,200 universities from 98 countries participating, the overall results place AIT in the global top 101-200, with five individual goals in the top 100, as follows:

MBA program ranks #14 in Asia and #1 in Thailand, according to QS

In the latest QS Global MBA Rankings 2021, released on September 23, the AIT Master of Business Administration (MBA) program ranks 14th in Asia and 1st in Thailand. Featuring over 250 business schools in 40 countries, the prestigious QS Global MBA Rankings 2021 provides a comprehensive list of the best academic institutions in the world to study for an MBA degree. The QS rankings are based on five indicators: Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes, Return on Investment, Thought Leadership, Employability, and Diversity. Of these, the AIT MBA ranks 7th in Asia in Diversity and 18th in the World in Return on Investment.

AIT Ranks 19th in World in SDG1 in Times Higher Education Impact in 2020

AIT ranks 86th in the world for SDG2—Zero Hunger, which indicates a recognition of our education and research on food and food security. In addition, AIT finished in the Top 200 in the world President Eden Woon said: “To be 19th in the world in SDG1—No Poverty in this prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2020 on sustainability work and commitment by top global universities is a tribute to the dedication of our students and faculty and staff to address the poverty issue in Asia.
