15 February 2024: The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) School of Management (SOM), in collaboration with PSG Institute of Management (PSGIM), India, recently launched the “Business Beyond Borders” International Immersion Program. This significant initiative aims to enrich the global business perspectives of MBA students by providing them with practical international exposure and a deeper understanding of diverse cultures.

Titled “Business Beyond Borders” (Course Code: 21GM28), the program spans a week and features a comprehensive study abroad curriculum led by PSGIM faculty members. Its primary objective is to immerse students in the host country’s business practices and cultural nuances, enhancing their intellectual, professional, and personal competencies.

During the program, 180 MBA students from PSGIM will visit AIT in four waves, each comprising 45 students. In February, three groups totaling 138 students visited Thailand. During their seven-day stay in Bangkok/Pattaya, the students participated in various academic and cultural immersion activities.

While visiting AIT’s Campus, PSGIM students engaged in a dynamic agenda comprising four lecture sessions and two industrial visits. These sessions covered a spectrum of topics, including the legal landscape of Thai business, innovation management, international trade opportunities, and evolving business methodologies within Thailand. Additionally, visits to prominent industry players such as the Nai Lert Group and the Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone provided students firsthand insights into Thailand’s business landscape.
