Mr. Chamaka Sameera Karunanayake, a Sri Lankan student enrolled in Water Engineering and Management, School of Engineering and Technology, is one of the recipients of Dr. Subin Pinkayan Student Exchange Scholarship. The scholarship will cover his airfare and travel insurance expenses during the exchange program at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan, from 28 September 2022 to 28 February 2023. He is selected to participate in the Young Science and Engineering Researchers Program (YSEP) and a recipient of the JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) scholarship at Tokyo Tech.
AIT President Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto express his thanks to Dr. Subin Pinkayan for his support towards the Student Exchange Scholarship program, as this would enable AIT Masters students to have the opportunity to broaden their International exposure through a one-semester academic exchange to globally recognized universities that AIT has agreements.
